Open Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Positions (Start Spring/Fall 2023)

Our lab has open Ph.D. positions (fully funded) in the area of urban resilience, network science, smart city, and disaster science. We welcome the applications from civil engineering, computer science/engineering, industrial/systems engineering, applied mathematics, network science, and other related disciplines. Candidates with strong optimization, machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and data science skills are preferred. The admitted candidates will enroll in the Ph.D. program in Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering and Civil Infrastructure System) in the University of Delaware.
